Started working at “Spokane Studios” , now The Dance Center of Spokane, in the fall of 1985. I have taught Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theater and Lyrical over the years. Now I am focusing on Classical Ballet. I was the artistic director of SBE for 25 years before passing on the torch to my Daughter, Melody Cabrera.
I am an RAD registered Teacher and we have been entering ballet exams here for over 30 years.
I have owned the Dance Center of Spokane since February 2001. I am semi-retired and am playing pro foosball on tour. I recently received the International Foosball Promotions Female Sportsmanship Award for 2024 after only playing 3 years.
I love teaching at the DCOS and look forwards every week to my classes that I teach on Tuesday-Thursdays.
