Miranda Swartout
Miranda has been dancing since the age of 3, beginning with ballet and expanding her training at the Dance Center of Spokane. By the age of 7, where she had begun to explore all styles of dance. After joining the studio’s competition team, Miranda dedicated nine years to competing, while also being a member of the DCOS Spokane Ballet Ensemble. One of her proudest moments was performing as the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland during her senior year.
After high school, Miranda pursued a professional career in dance, becoming both a dance teacher and a choreographer for the studio’s competition team. With two years of teaching experience, Miranda specializes in jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern and hip-hop, bringing her passion and expertise to the students at DCOS.
