Jaime Round
I grew up dancing in San Jose, California from the age of 3. Competed in dance for 7 years. I also was on my high school cheer team. My senior year I danced with a local hip hop team and when I went to college I participated in intramural dance and cheer sometimes as a coach, while earning a minor in dance from BYU-Idaho. I subbed dance and coached cheer during college as well. I have been teaching at DCOS for 8 years and this is my 3rd season as the Competition Team Director. In 2020 I passed my Intermediate Ballet exam for RAD and I am also certified by the RAD to teach Silver Swans ballet. I teach tap & jazz along with assisting Silver Swans ballet for DCOS, but love every style!
You can see Jaime teaching jazz, contemporary and tap on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. As well as directing our competition team on Saturdays.
